This was my halloween costume which was a nurse from Silent Hill. I actually wore it to the anime club at my school and won best female cosplay, yippie! I guess it was pretty easy to make. I bought a nurse costume(an adult costume) at a store, covered it in fake blood and found some tights to go along with it too.I was looking for white high heeled shoes, but could only find black lying around my house. I also put white body paint on my skin and painted red and blue veins on me.
I didn't know at the time, that we were supposed to present our costume in character at the club, so I was super embarrassed as they forced me to do the freaky nurse walk.And I somehow managed to smuggle a real steel pipe into school.
Meg here: I have commandeered Joe's keyboard to say the following:
My little sister in a mini-dress!? This is Bizarro-World for sure. Allison, this picture is disturbing, and what the hell is a "cosplay?"
I'm proud of your attention to detail, the realistic blood splattering, the blue veins are a nice touch... and carrying a deadly weapon into school makes you the coolest, baddest sibling I own.
Odang. That's really awesome. I'm prolly gonna be that for Momocon.. I don't have to paint the veins.. I'm already covered in them. @_@;
Anywho, I love the costume very much...I admire your weapon-sneaking skills! >D

I planned on having a latex mask, like the ones from the movie, so I bought some liquid latex to make a mask when I realized...I dont know how. So, I think I'll be the same thing next year 'cuz I plan on learning how to make a mask.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
